Second SoS Territory (TROJICE)

In the winter of 2006 SoS acquired a small plot of land in the scenic South bohemia (Czech Republic). The property includes a meadow (1,5 hectares) in a natural protected area. The site is located in natural surroundings between two slopes with an unobstructed view of the valley. The meadow lies directly adjacent to the stony road which is also used by pilgrims once a year to a nearby chapel.
The meadow lies around 3 km from the town Trhové Sviny.

SoS starts in cooperation with AO& and with the help of citizens and friends the first harvest in TROJICE.

The previous area of 2,000 m2 has been expanded to 5,600 m2 with a further tract and wooded area.
Art projects are planned for 2009, as well as the harvest of natural resources on location together with AO& (www.aound.net).

At the SoS province of Trojice in Southern Bohemia/Czech Republic
over 80 young birch trees were implanted along the state border.
In Fall 2009 a Herbarium about fauna and flora on this area is
planned to be published.
