TONI VILLAR / "Resolution 1441"
Gravoglas / Size: 210 x 580 x 3.2 mm / 2004 Resolution 1441 is a reaction on the results of finding “Weapons of mass destruction” in Iraq. This eye chart is based on the “Snellen eye chart” named after the 19th century Dutch ophthalmologist Hermann Snellen (1834-1908) who came up with it as a test of visual acuity. Visual acuity refers to the clarity or clearness of vision, a measure of how well a person sees. The word "acuity" comes from the Latin word "acuitas" = sharpness.
