ANTHEM AWARD - Reinterpret the SoS Anthem
Dear Musicians, SoS Citizens, and Friends!
The State of Sabotage (SoS) is having its anthem reinterpreted and invites you to participate in an open competition. Since its foundation in 2003, SoS has commissioned and performed almost twenty interpretations of its own anthem, including by Christian Fennesz, the RSO, The Beggars’ Operas, Musikprotokoll, and the US Army Choir. Further contributions will now be collected and released as part of a compilation entitled SoS ANTHEM in autumn, 2011.
Reinterpret our anthem on the basis of existing compositions, whether as a cover or as a remix. All genres are welcome, from electronic, folk, classical, and opera to metal, rock, pop, and hip-hop.
The composition and musical notation (as doc., mp3, and MIDI files), as well as previous interpretations, can be found here:
Submissions should include name, producer, address, telephone number, and e-mail, listed in a word.doc.
Maximum length: 5 minutes
