The Sabotage Communications label of Vienna now presents "200:2," a music-project without loudspeakers, which will be transmitted to 200 headphone sets. Upon entry to the event, each of the 200 guests/participants will receive special headphones equipped with an infrared sensor. The event-space is divided into 3 audio areas in which dj-sets and live performances of diverse musical styles (Electro, HipHop,TecHouse, Ambient) are simultaneously transmitted directly to the 200 headphones. Dancefloor roaming triggers a switch between the individual music-zones. By removing the headphones, the visitor/participant removes her/himself from the happenings and thereby enters a situation of exclusion.
